Catholic Daughters of the Americas is one of the largest women’s organizations in the Americas and founded in 1903. Our Court – Court Our Lady of the Rosary - was formed in 2002 and will celebrate our 20 th anniversary this year.
Our meetings are always open to Catholic women who are at least 18 years of age and desire to become a member. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month, September through June. We meet at 9:00 a.m.
in Meeting Room 3.
Catholic Daughters follow a procedural type of protocol – local, state and national levels. Dues are nominal and paid each year. Our many donations are funded by our planned activities, which are fun and provide a special way to get to know the group. The camaraderie created within the organization is endearing. Catholic Daughters supports our Parish, our Community and National Projects and Charities. Court Our Lady of the Rosary incorporates a spiritual emphasis during our meetings. We invite you to attend a meeting and consider joining our very special group of ladies. For membership info, please contact Dee Studt at 402-333-5121 or Cindy Fletcher at 402-670-7023.

Activities
Catholic Daughters plan several activities during the year. We have speakers who provided information about Catholic Charities, Legislative bills, Heart Ministry Center, Mother Teresa and Fleeing Ukraine.
Sponsoring Parish Activities, providing Community Support and contributing to the National Projects and Charities are a significant part of Catholic Daughters. In 2022, we have hosted the St. Joseph Movie, complete with popcorn. We sponsored a successful Country Fair and annual Diaper Drive to coincide with lent. We will be hosting a popular upcoming Card Party, to be held on September 29 th . All fundraising helps Catholic Daughters subsidize a Parish Scholarship, contribute monetarily to the Robotics Club, provide donations to our priests at Christmas and for Priest’s Appreciation Day. Donations are made to provide community support to the Holy Family Lunch Program, Bethlehem House, Sacred Heart Ministry, and Hope for the Poor. These local charities may change from time-to-time; however, they are Catholic faith focused and provide assistance within our community.
We have coupled with the Knights of Columbus to help with shared fundraisers.
A very integral part of Catholic Daughters is our Spiritual value. We begin each meeting with a rosary. Members recite the rosary before a Funeral Mass for our members; and, at the Funeral Mass for our members’ husbands, when requested. We honor our deceased members yearly during our November meeting. Monthly Masses are offered for living and deceased Catholic Daughter members.
New members are welcome to provide additional input for new activities or add to existing activities. The friendships created within our group are everlasting. The outreach of our activities is immeasurable and demonstrate the love and charity that Catholic Daughters are recognized for.
