Favorite thing about SRB (or teaching)
I love our core values:  Living Faith, Practicing Service, achieving excellence, inspiring leadership, and promoting collaboration. 

Favorite bible verse
Matthew 9-35: Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness.

Favorite hobby/pastime
My favorite pastimes include watching live sports, especially football, and going on nightly walks with my wife and our yellow Labrador.

What was your favorite subject in school, and why?
It’s a tie between history and PE. History has always been fascinating to me because understanding the past helps explain how we got to where we are. PE, on the other hand, appealed to my love of sports, games, and staying active.  

Favorite Ice Cream Flavor
Anything with chocolate!  

Any other fun fact you want to share
I am a University of Minnesota Gopher alum, and fun fact—every dog I’ve ever had (all three!) has had a name inspired by the U of M. I also have two sons: one is entering his final year of law school, and the other is beginning his second year of college and plays on the football team.
