I joined SRB as a TA in 2016, as a teacher in ‘22, as a parishioner in 2007.
Degree held
I have a Bachelors inn Performing Arts, Dance from Oklahoma City University, and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Western Governors University.
Favorite thing about SRB (or teaching)
My favorite thing about teaching at SRB are the families. I love building a rapport with the parents as well as the students in my class. Often times that rapport is carried over to younger siblings and it’s so fun to get to know each personality! Every child is different and I love getting to know each individual!
Favorite bible verse
My favorite Bible verse is Love is patient, love is kind.
Favorite hobby/pastime
My favorite hobby/pastime is spending time with my kids when they are home, watching my son play lacrosse, and exercising.
What was your favorite subject in school, and why?
My favorite subject in school was always math. I always appreciated that there is one right answer, but multiple ways to get to that answer.
Favorite Ice Cream Flavor
My favorite ice cream flavor is probably pistachio almonds to buy in the stores; but if given an option to out, I would always choose Coneflower and order their Cherry Tart Crumble.
Any other fun fact you want to share
A fun fact about me would be that I love road trips. If I could, I would spend the summer driving a route to see as many waterfalls as I could!!
